Our 4-Stage Vetting Pipeline
Every candidate goes through the same robust, multi-stage process — assessed fairly and consistently on competence, safety and legal compliance, and on nothing else. It's how we protect the people in our care without closing doors that should stay open.
Identity & Right to Work
We verify identity and proof of address in person, then confirm Right to Work status in line with current Home Office guidance — checking document authenticity, valid immigration status and any visa expiry dates before a candidate is ever cleared for interview.
Enhanced DBS Check
We carry out the appropriate level of Disclosure and Barring Service check for every role, in line with relevant legislation. A criminal record is rarely an automatic bar — each disclosure is reviewed fairly and individually, weighing its relevance, recency and any evidence of rehabilitation against the safety of those in our care.
Referencing & History
We require a complete, gap-free employment history with a minimum of two verified professional references covering the last 3 years, plus direct confirmation of qualifications and professional registrations with the relevant awarding or regulatory body.
Clinical Interview
Face-to-face competency interviews assess situational judgement, clinical skills and communication — followed by ongoing compliance monitoring and revalidation throughout their time working with us, not just at the point of hire.
The Training Matrix
Every healthcare assistant and support worker must complete and pass the comprehensive Care Certificate, alongside annual mandatory refreshers.
